The Ultamite horse site is a good one. They have funny horse jokes, A horse name generator, stories, pictures, and everything you would want. And actually i went on equinehits to learn about horses behaviors. I contacted owners who didnt mind answering questions.
This site is a great place to do it too. If you looked up questions you learn alot from other people. I hope you find something that works

Darley which is the major Arab owned international TB operation has a really great one. Go to www.darley.co.uk and click on the Darley kids link on the right hand side. It has an All About Horses feature where you can learn what they eat, points of the horse etc, and there is a foal diary which follows 3 of their own foals. Darley is a fantastic place and it's a great website.
The Zips Chocolate Chip website has stuff for kids and stories, loads of pics and competitions.
